Inbound Sales Representatives

Reporting to the Sales Manager on your progress and development, you will generate new revenue via call centre sales activities and/or find opportunities to increase business with existing clients.

These telesales positions are front line Call Centre roles converting prospects into customers. Key functions include the renewal of sales contracts, subscription up sell, appropriate option offerings to cancellations, improving customer knowledge and increasing client retention overall. Calls are made using an automatic dialer. Contact is of a routine nature with limited deviation from standard script.  This is a non-technical role and may require some contact via fax, e-mail or mail. Selling is generally scripted with deviation limited to sales techniques. Calls are forwarded to third parties for specialized information

Responsibilities:

� Recommends appropriate products and pricing options through suggestive selling techniques

� Utilizes prescribed quality call handling processes

• Educates customers on appropriate products, pricing and subscription length options.
• May perform some outbound follow up as required
• Initiates customer fulfillment requests via standard procedures and/or third party contact
• Answers customer questions / conducts consultative selling using formatted screens, scripts and procedures
• Has ability to respond to common questions asked by customers, typically learned during initial training
• Evaluates need for call escalation and conducts warm transfer of calls to functional specialist for more detailed information on product areas.
• Contacts internal specialists to obtain clarification or detail for responding to some questions
• Reads and researches relevant materials and resources to stay current in product / program knowledge
• Initiates sales closure through scripted process using data capture

Essential Qualifications:

• General knowledge of windows-based applications.
• 2 - 5 years of customer contact experience, either face-to-face or over the telephone.  Ability to demonstrate proficient selling techniques
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory
• Knowledge of VoIP and LD products and services is an asset as is previous experience in the Telco industry preferred.
• Shifts requiring coverage range from within the hours of 8am – 11pm Mon – Fri and the occasional Saturdays from 10am – 6pm
