of wood and gas fireplaces, stoves, inserts, quality grills, barbecue
accessories and patio heaters that is in a growth phase is seeking a:
Canadian Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the
Canadian Sales Manager position is directly responsible for driving the sales
and marketing programs for the company’s HVAC line in the Canadian market. He/She ensures that the execution of
developed strategies, plans and programs and related activities are in
accordance with sales objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will manage the
Canadian customer base both Dealer and Distributor promoting and securing new
sales opportunities by way of cold calling and networking while maintaining
existing client relationships. As a product expert you will develop sales
opportunities through multiple distribution channels.
Ideally you are a
seasoned sales manager with 8 to 10 years’ experience in HVAC sales with a
minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and developing Associates and/or Sales
teams. You bring a demonstrated track record of continually meeting and
exceeding management’s defined sales targets and new client development
objectives plus developing strategic business plans; as in sales and
forecasting to this role. In addition, you have extensive trade show and other
promotional activity experience along with significant exposure to working with
Designers, Builders and Architect professionals.
Specifically you will:
1.
Articulate equipment features, function, benefits and competitive
advantage of the product line to potential clients.
2.
Identify, develop and provide marketing support tools and programs
including technical and client sales training and trade show participation.
3.
Converse with customers to discuss all aspects of proposals,
opportunities, conducting presentations, existing projects and close
opportunities.
4.
Develop account growth plans and forecasting.
5.
Manage and qualify sales leads.
6.
Work with Director of Sales and HVAC team to develop plans, objectives,
goals, and business plans. Assist with the development of yearly and periodic
sales forecasts and budget plans.
7.
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all
applicable company departments ensuring communication and the resolution of
customer concerns and complaints.
8.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with Builders, Architects and
designers in an effort to gain and grow business.
9.
Develop Dealer business in conjunction with Distributors.
10.
Manage leads and develop direct reports.
11.
Stay abreast of industry advances, market condition and competitor
activities.
12.
Provide Weekly Sales call reports updating new activity and project
updates.
